Oh what a night! ECSA Junior Sailing awards were held at Niantic Bay Yacht Club on August 20th. A big congratulations goes out to ALL of our Niantic Bay Sailing Academy sailors for their regatta efforts all season long. And, major kudos to our NBSA instructors and especially Brendan Peary for tackling NBSA 420 race coaching AND ECSA Junior duties all year.

From local food, to composting, to green boat washing practices, sharing coach boats to reduce emissions, and reusable trophies, we made every effort to ensure that this event was sound-safe. Niantic Bay Sailing Academy sent three teams to the Atlantic Coast Championships at SHELTER ISLAND YACHT CLUB JUNIOR SAILING PROGRAM this past week. The sailors had an amazing time, getting to enjoy all that the island had to offer during two long postponements, and also got in 6 solid races. Thanks to coach Brendan Peary and all of our parent volunteers who made the trek so worth it! 🎉🎉
