The 2025 Niagara Christmas Village Vote Results Are In!

Thanks to our incredible community, a total of $1,025 was raised for local organizations and charities through your votes! Every dollar makes a difference, and every display brought joy, creativity, and holiday spirit to Heights Park in Niagara.

1st Place: Niagara Area Business Association "NABA"
Their charming display featured miniature replicas of local businesses, and all votes will benefit the Niagara Area Emergency Unit.

2nd Place: Nickels Logging
Woodland animals gathered around a cozy campfire in their heartwarming scene. Votes will support the Niagara Historical Museum Last Saturday Program.

3rd Place: Snow Daze
Their hilarious take on “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer” brought smiles and laughter. Votes will go to Karen’s Pantry.

This most recent storm took a toll on some of the sites at the Niagara Christmas Village. The Christmas Village will still be lit every night from 3pm-10pm through Wed night (New Year's Eve), but sites that took damage may start to dismantle their sites early. There are pictures of each of the sites on the page in the 2025 Niagara Christmas Village Sites photo album.

If you haven't voted yet, the last day to vote is Thursday, January 1st. All voting boxes will be collected the morning of January 2nd. All the decorating groups did a great job again this year and each have chosen worthy local organizations/charities to support. Voting locations are:

--Niagara City Hall, 1029 Roosevelt Rd (24 hr secure drop box, rear entrance between glass doors)
--Forward Financial Credit Union, 1050 Roosevelt Rd, Niagara (M-F 8:30A-5P; Saturday 8:30A-12P)
--Nicolet Bank, 900 Roosevelt Rd, Niagara (M-F 8:30A-5P)
--Pit Stop Bar & Grill, 1059 Roosevelt Rd, Niagara (Daily 10A-Close)
--Scott’s Uptown Lanes, 1201 Roosevelt Rd, Niagara (Daily 11A-2A)
--Tripp's Tavern, 1001 Roosevelt Rd, Niagara (M-Th 10A-Close, F-Su 9A-Close)

Each voting location has a folder with a picture of each site, as well as a listing of all the sites and the local organization/charity they support.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the decorators that joined in this year. Your time and creativity is greatly appreciated!

ONE WEEK ‘TIL CHRISTMAS!
If you haven’t visited the Niagara Christmas Village yet, now’s the time to bundle up and head out—because the displays this year are next-level festive, funny, and downright magical.

VOTE for your favorite holiday displays while you’re there! Every vote counts, and trust us, choosing just one is harder than untangling last year’s lights, but why vote for just one?

The Grinch has returned to Site 10 after a heroic recovery from the infamous pre-Thanksgiving one-vehicle accident involving Rudolph, Santa, and an elf on a stretcher. He’s stitched up, slightly sassier, and eyeing up the “Very Merry Grinchmas” display two sites down.

This year’s lineup includes:
- A traditional Nativity scene glowing with reverence
- Grandma getting run over by a reindeer (she’s okay, we think)
- A Yeti chasing a train through snowy chaos
- Forest critters warming up around a cozy campfire
- Mrs. Claus and Mouse baking up Holiday Cheer
- The Charlie Brown gang rallying around their iconic tree
- A stunning NABA miniature makeover of several Niagara buildings
- Brightly glowing tree and cross shining with the spirit of Christmas
- Traditional Christmas trees visited by curious reindeer and cheerful snowmen
- The Knights of Columbus wreaths and candles display, full of warmth and tradition
- The heroic North Pole Rescue Squad keeping the season safe
- And of course, A Very Merry Grinchmas with Max on center stage!

Whether you’re into heartfelt tradition or hilarious holiday hijinks, there’s something for everyone. So grab your cocoa, bring your crew, and cast your vote before Christmas sneaks up on us! Displays are lit from 3:00pm to 10:00pm every night through December 31st.

🎄✨ Walk Off That Turkey at the Niagara Christmas Village! ✨🎄
After the last bite of turkey and the final whistle of the Packers vs. Lions game—no matter who takes the win—make your way to the Niagara Christmas Village!

🌟 Stroll through twinkling lights
🌟 Warm up with holiday cheer
🌟 Enjoy the magic of the season with family and friends

The Village is open today, ready to turn your Thanksgiving into a Christmas kickoff. 🦃➡️🎅

Come for the glow, stay for the joy—Niagara is waiting for you!

Lights are already turned on for today and will stay on until 10:00pm tonight. The wind of the last day has been rough on some of the sites. Most damage has been repaired, but there are few things that will need to be fixed once the decorating elves return from their holiday. One final site will be added this week.

Can't make it out today? Lights are on daily from 3pm-10pm through New Year's Eve. Don't forget to vote for your favorite(s). All money raised through votes go to the charity/local organization selected by the site you are voting for. See the Voting Locations list for a full listing. Some sites may not be open today due to Thanksgiving. I do know Pit Stop Bar & Grill is open and they have a voting box.

Votes can also be mailed. See the Site List to see who to make the check out to and if you need to put anything in the memo line. Mail to:

Thank you to everyone that came out to the Niagara Christmas Tree lighting event. It was a great night! Great weather, awesome food, and lots of cheer! Santa and Mrs. Claus were mobbed (in a good way) by children of all ages as they were dropped of by Niagara Police Chief Michael Chapman and the Niagara Area Emergency Unit.

A big thank you to Bryan and Shelby DeForge and their family and friends who put this free event on each year. They are also responsible for actually decorating the tree. They also coordinated the Wine Walk in Niagara that past few years, which is the major fundraiser for this event.
