MVA β€” 10th Street

The Niagara Falls Police Department and Niagara Falls Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that traversed the edge between two levels within a parking garage, leaving it suspended. Upon arrival, officers located the Chevy Equinox on the 3rd level, where the driver mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake, resulting in the vehicle coming to rest over the ledge after colliding with two parked cars that sustained minor damage.

Due to logistical constraints preventing a tow truck from accessing the parking garage, Niagara Falls Firefighters utilized hydraulic tools, blocks, and chains attached to a vehicle to lift the Chevy Equinox back onto the third-level ramp, after which the vehicle was removed from the premises.
