Hamilton-Myers VFW 6070 is dedicated to serving combat veterans, their families and our community. Thank you visiting the Hamilton-Myers VFW Post 6070 page.

We endeavor to provide camaraderie and support to combat veterans, their families and the greater Newville, PA community. Eligible combat veterans are encouraged to join us for our regular meetings on the third Thursday of each month starting at 7:00pm. Meetings are held in the Fellowship Hall of the Big Spring Heights Church of God, 10 Mount Rock Road, Newville, PA. If you have questions regardin

Hamilton-Myers VFW Post is currently accepting entries for the Veterans of Foreign War’s Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy scholarship contests.

Patriot's Pen is open to students in grades 6-8. One winner from all submissions will receive a $200.00 cash scholarship from Hamilton-Myers VFW.

Voice of Democracy is open to students in grades 9-12. One winner from all submissions will receive a $300.00 cash scholarship from Hamilton-Myers VFW.

Winning entries will be submitted for further competition. Winning submissions at each level of competition could receive additional scholarship awards!

Please see the individual entry forms for contest rules and submission requirements.

Entries can be submitted by mail to: Hamilton-Myers VFW c/o Youth Contest Chair, P.O. Box 101, Newville, PA 17241 or by contacting the Post at the addresses on the entry form to arrange a drop off.

All entries must be received by Hamilton-Myers VFW no later than 31 October 2023.

Hamilton-Myers VFW Post is currently accepting entries for the Veterans of Foreign War’s Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy scholarship contests.

We are now accepting entries for the 2023-2024 Department of Pennsylvania V.F.W. Coloring Contest!

The contest is open to students in grade 2-5.

Hamilton-Myers VFW will be awarding prizes to one entry for each grade! Prize includes a certificate and $20.00 scholarship.
All entries must be received by the post no later then 15 January 2024.
