Join your toddler/preschooler for a fun, FREE morning on Wednesdays from 10 am -11:30 am at 3151 Ritner Highway, Newville. No need to sign up- just show up!

Join us Wednesday for our next week of our sports theme… Soccer! Kids will kick the soccer ball into the cups and see what letters they can find, play a sports ball, memory game, match the letters on the black pentagons to the right space on the soccer ball template, dig in the bin of soccer pasta and find the sports balls to complete the patterns, experiment with different types of fans to keep the soccer balloon in the air, put the right number of beads on the soccer ball tails, trace lines to connect the soccer players to the balls, play a pom-pom soccer ball game, make a sports medal craft, roll the die, and give the cleat that many spikes, toss the mini soccer ball onto the shapes chart and collect all of the sports balls of that shape, and pretend to coach a soccer team by using the foosball table.

Join us Wednesday at 10am for Baseball! Kids will use their fingerprints to make baseball laces, find the baseball items around the room, match the baseball players to the matching colored balls, fill sports eggs with rice and shake them, build a baseball abc tower, make a tie dye baseball with markers and water, play catch with their grown up, hide an item in the baseball egg and have their grown up guess what it is, count the dots of the baseball mitts and match them to their ball, roll baseballs on a target to get points, order baseballs from largest to smallest, and match uppercase and lowercase letters on sports clip cards.

Join us tomorrow at 10 AM for our first week of the sports theme: Golf! I am re-sharing a previous post which shows the activities because I was not able to set anything up yet due to an event at the church this evening. See you all tomorrow morning!

Join us Wednesday for our last week of our ocean theme…Whales! Kids will use a straw as a blow hole to paint a whale, put the whales on the coral reefs as they hop on the number line, makes sea creature dot art, dig in the bin and find the sea creatures and sort them, match the baby whales to their parent, see which sea creatures are hiding in the coral reefs, makes sea creatures with shape blocks, measure the whales’ spray, look at shells with a microscope, play guess the sea creature with their grown-up, play a seashell collecting game, and trace letters with whale spray (lemon juice) to make them disappear!

It’s Shark Week! Kids will give the shark his missing teeth, dig in the Jell-O and find the sharks, make a shark clothespin craft that opens and chomps, use sea animal stamps, sort the fish into the right shark’s mouth, make a Lego park for shark to play in, cut apart, a shark memory game, match the right letter fins to the waves to find the hiding sharks, make and eat a shark themed snack, play a shark chutes and ladders game, travel around the room and find the hidden sea creatures, and feed the fish to the shark while naming the shapes they see.

Join us Wednesday at 10am for the next week of our ocean theme- Crabs! Kids will dig in the sand and find seashells, make a hermit crab handprint craft, match the crab halves, make the crab catch fish, trace the crab shapes, help the sea creatures collect shells, create aquarium tanks with the right amount of each sea creature, play a crab emotions game, give the crabs the right number of legs, make sea creature stencil art, make sea shell jewelry, and match the lettered crabs to their sand buckets.

Join us Wednesday at 10am for Octopus week! Kids will make an octopus tower, make pancakes for the octopus, make shell imprints in play dough, sort the colored ‘pearls’, match the ocean animals to their shadows, paint an octopus with q-tips, find which octopus is different, find the letters on the octopus arms, experiment with suction cups, cut strips to make an octopus craft, put the right number of beads on each octopus arm, make octopus patterns, and count the stripes on the shells the octopus is collecting.

Join us Wednesday at 10 AM for our first meet up of the school year! The theme for September will be ocean animals. Our first week with focus on Fish!

Kids will use celery to make a rainbow fish, do a magnet fishing puzzle, sort the numbered fish, play go fish with a grown-up or another child, catch fish with letters on them, toss fish sponges into the bucket, build a magnet castle for the fish to swim around, roll and add fish to the fishbowl, play with the ocean animals in the water table, eat and sort rainbow goldfish, put rocks inside a fish until it sinks, and put the ocean animals around the coral reef in the requested position.
