PLEASE HELP!
On 8/20/26, a young man from the Launch Pad was struck from behind while traveling on Centerville Road on an E-bike. He was only a few hundred feet from his job at Sheetz, where he was working the night shift. He was on his way to work!
His injuries were severe and he was flown by Life Lion to Hershey Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, his e-bike was totaled and his ID was not found. Therefore, he was alone in the hospital for 12 hours before he regained consciousness and could provide his identity.
He continues to recover and prepare for surgeries to repair his facial bones. He had 6 fractured bones throughout his body and lost a lot of skin to road rash. He will be returning to work next month but needs a car to keep his job, as his e-bike days are definitely over.
If anyone has a reliable car to donate, please consider helping this deserving young man.
Also, if anyone would like to share well wishes or cards, he is a bit bored, please mail them to Launch Pad Foundation and we will see that he gets them. Thank you.
Attached is the link to the accident. He still does not know who hit him and there are a lot of bills arriving daily. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Back on Ritner, turn right at the Cumberland Drive In to visit Breezy Valley Farms farm stand for fresh produce, baked goods and the best blueberry baked oatmeal.
Head back on 233 towards Newville. Find adorable vintage treasures at Besties Boutiques, grab a snack at Theo’s or Whisker’s. JULY CLOTHING DRIVE: SUCCESS!

One North Thrift Store picking up from Just Plain Yoga Studio's Michele Einig. We had trouble getting us and the truckful of clothing in the photo because there's A LOT.
Michele is a yoga instructor at Just Plain Yoga Studio. This is her SECOND clothing drive for One North and WOW! We have J. Crew, Land's End, Birkenstocks, American Eagle, Prana, Frye and much, much more.
Michele also donates a class to Launch Pad Foundation to spread awareness and support young adults in her community.
Thank you to Just Plain Yoga Studio and Michele Einig for the love and the clothes!

Clothing is the #1 seller at One North Thrift Store. If you would like to organize a clothing drive at your office or in your community, we would love to talk to you. Volunteer organized drives yield 75% more sellable clothing and reduce waste cost to our nonprofit.
