On tomorrow Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, celebrate the beauty of the season with the Newtown Historic Association’s Holiday Open House Tour. Now in its 62nd year, this tour gives visitors the opportunity to peek into several of Newtown’s unique private residences, all dressed for the holidays.
Besides the private homes, there will be multiple public buildings open for visitors. All sites are within easy walking distance from the town center. Early bird ticket prices are $30 for members or $35 for non-members starting November 15, 2025. On the day of the tour, December 6, 2025, ticket prices will be $40.
Advance tickets can be purchased at Newtown Book & Record Exchange, 102 S. State Street (beginning November 15; CASH OR CHECK ONLY) and online at https://nha.ticketbud.com/housetour25. On tour day, tickets can be purchased at the Half-moon (Court) Inn, 105 Court Street and at the Stocking Works, 301 S. State Street, Newtown. Children under the age of 12 are free.

Come celebrate the beauty of the season with the Newtown Historic Association’s Holiday Open House Tour on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Now in its 62nd year, this tour gives visitors the opportunity to peek into several of Newtown’s unique private residences, all dressed for the holidays.
As you wander through Newtown, there will be multiple public buildings open for visitors, including the Half-Moon Inn where you can enjoy period musical entertainment and hearthside colonial cooking demonstrations, and explore the History of Newtown Exhibition on the second floor.

Thanks Newtown, PA Patch for the article about the Newtown Historic Association Newtown Market Day! We can't wait until our 50th Anniversary next year!

The day featured more than 80 vendors, craft demonstrations, lots of food, live music and horse-drawn wagon rides.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Newtown Historic Association at Newtown Historic Market Day on Saturday!

We especially want to thank our amazing vendors and volunteers. One of our amazing volunteers is Meg Griffin who served many roles on Saturday. She helped at the library 5K and book sale then worked the DAR table and then demonstrated candle dipping! Thanks for all of you do Meg!
