Tux, Mercari, Francesca, Statham, Nala, Lora and Harley are currently TIMESTAMPED for Monday, January 26 at the Trenton Animal Shelter! They need an adopter or foster quickly to save their life. 💙
Tux is a friendly and affectionate pup who’s ready to find his forever home! During his behavior assessment, Tux showed a lot of positive behaviors and has the potential to thrive with the right guidance and ongoing training.
He would do best in a home as the only dog, as he isn’t a fan of sharing his space with other pups. Tux may need a little desensitization around food bowl handling, but with patience and love, he’s eager to learn and please.
Mercari is a loving and friendly girl who wants a home of her own! She knows basic commands, but her confidence would benefit from an adopter willing to continue positive training. Mercari needs to be the only dog in the home, and would do best in a home without small children.
Francisca is a sweet and friendly pup who is ready to find her forever home! She is a fun girl who loves being with her people and may bark when left alone. All she wants is a cozy spot to sleep and a family to keep her company! Francisca would benefit from a home that is patient, consistent, and committed to ongoing training. Francisca is friendly with both people and other dogs, and with the right adopter, she has the potential to thrive and be a wonderful companion. If you’re experienced, patient, and ready to help Francisca continue her journey, she could be the perfect addition to your family!
A little shy at first, Statham is a super friendly boy once he warms up to you, which doesn’t take long! He loves people. Statham is dog selective, so a meet and greet with any resident dogs is required to test for compatibility. He would benefit from continued socialization and training in a loving home of his own!
Nala is a sweet and lively 2-year-old Pitt mix looking for her forever home. She’s full of energy, love, and curiosity, and she’s ready to find a family that can give her the attention and care she deserves. Nala was briefly adopted but returned due to compatibility with the resident dogs in her former home and she would do best as the only dog. She has been reassessed and did well on all behavioral measures! While she showed some resource guarding at the shelter—likely due to stress from being back in a new environment—her previous adopter shared that she was very easygoing at home and could have her favorite bone taken without any issues. Nala would thrive in a home where she can feel safe, secure, and loved. With patience, consistency, and a lot of love, Nala is ready to become a cherished part of her new family. Lora came into the shelter with some skin issues, but those have now been resolved. Through everything, she has remained as sweet as can be. Sadly, Lora’s life is at risk if she is not adopted by 1/26/26. We are urgently asking everyone to share Lora, along with the other 9 dogs we’ll be posting over the next few days. These dogs deserve a chance at life, love, and a home. Every single share truly matters.
Lora is currently at the Trenton Animal Shelter and is waiting for someone to give her the happy ending she deserves.
