Youth football practice kicks off tomorrow at Treadwell Park. Always an exciting time of year! If you have any cleats that are no longer of use, please consider donating. We will have collection bins set up at Treadwell all week during football practice.

Baseball Fan Fest was cancelled due to the weather yesterday, but you can still bring any used cleats to the games today at Glander Field starting at noon. Look for the blue bins!

When Marc Maurath was a freshman at Newtown High School, he had a great idea: to collect and clean used cleats and donate to under-resourced youth programs.

I'm proud to announce that Newtown's Kleats For Kids has collected 1,000 pairs of cleats!

Over the last 3 years, my mission has been to collect and redistribute gently used cleats to under-resourced youth groups, community programs and schools. Today, more kids can play the sports that they love!

A huge thank you to Leveling the Playing Field, Inc.ng Field, Inc. in Baltimore, MD for distributing the cleats to the teams and kids that need them.
We are not done yet! Stay tuned for future tournament collection days and indoor sports arenas throughout Connecticut that will have donation bins this Fall.

Our mission is to collect gently used cleats & donate them to under resourced teams & programs.

A huge thank you to Newtown Youth Football & Cheer for this week’s cleat collection drive.

I started collecting cleats 3 years ago and our first event was with the NYFC. The NYFC has been our biggest program contributor and has helped collect enough cleats for SIX youth football teams to give cleats to their players! Their generosity and support is greatly appreciated.

I am also very happy to announce that I reached my goal of collecting 1,000 cleats for kids that need them!
