From the Marshalltown RC Flyers:
Alert!
Randy Gibson, our AMA region director, will be in Grinnell Friday night so he can go to Hazel Sigs funeral Saturday. (October 18th)
After the funeral he is coming to the Marshalltown flying field for an impromptu fun fly.
He should be at the field around 2pm or a little earlier.
The weather looks decent so let’s all turn out for some late season flying and show Randy a great time!
If you have an Sig plane bring it in honor of Hazel!

IMAC contest at the CIA Club near Ames, Iowa. They are running Basic through the Unlimited Class. Remember in the Basic Class you can fly any airplane! Our friends up in Cambridge, Iowa, are hosting a 3-day Fun Fly this weekend!
If you haven’t been before, their field is incredible—no trees for thousands of feet. Last year’s food truck was amazing too—definitely worth the trip! (Also, their event flyers make mine look like a 5-year-old made them!)

We had a great little fun fly on the 4th! Plenty of spectators, food, ice cream and heat! I was so busy I didn't take any pictures, oops!

Minor update to the July 4th poster, I added Hamburgers and our yearly dues to try to gain some new members! Currently we only have 15 members, it's always nice to build the hobby!
