Peace Connections is a local community-based non-profit in which their mission has adapted to meet the needs of our community; ranging from organizing community gardens and recycling initiatives to local peace work focused on poverty reduction and building resilient communities.

How many loads of laundry does your family wash in an average week?

If you estimate THREE loads of laundry per week by the cost of cleaning ($3.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry) x 4 weeks per month= $54 becomes the average cost to families to have clean clothes.
