The Newton Fiddle & Musician's Club A group of musicians interested in jamming, preparing for a future entertainment career or a leisure pursuit.

We are a group of fiddlers and musicians from Newton (and surrounding areas). We primarily play the fiddle but if you enjoy playing along with the upright bass, guitar, banjo or mandolin, come join us. If you haven't played your instrument in 20, 30, 40 years, dust it off and pick it up again.

A total of 3 players participated, but numerous songs were played.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
Use the southwest door in the front of the building. Jams will be the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 1:00pm. Bring your instruments, singing voice, a small amp if you have one (yes we'll have electric instruments, but we all know how to use the volume dial). Our last music jam acoustic instruments worked well. You may bring a snack and drink, if you want to share them, I don't think anyone will mind. 🙂 We will have a sign-in sheet.

Can’t wait to see my Northern Iowa friends in just a couple weeks!

Even though Junction 63 won’t be performing this time (I’ve got to head to the Opry early Sunday morning), we’ve got an amazing lineup of bands ready to rock Hampton!
