NWNJ Time Bank volunteers took part in a recent Community Clean-up. Hampton Township provided the safety vests, pokers and bags. NWNJ Timebank supplied the volunteers. Several hundred pounds of trash and recyclables was collected from the Plots/Parson Road area. Thanks to Hampton township for scouting out the roads that needs a little TLC. The Paulin Skill Watershed Group supported this and other clean ups within the watershed region on October 23rd. This was part of the Clean Communities Grant program and will help the timebank cover insurance and upkeep of their volunteer database. All volunteers earned timebank hours they can trade for help from other timebank members. The event was a win win win for the community, volunteers and township. NWNJ Timebank is planning on doing another community project in the spring.
