Fall has given us so many wonderful ways to connect with our communities!

From coffee & conversation with veterans in , to offering health screenings at the Senior Expo, we’ve loved getting out and engaging with our neighbors, including those we met at a recent health fair.

At , we value every opportunity to build relationships with community partners across the 13 counties we serve. We look forward to continuing these connections as we work together to support patients and families facing .

Last month, we held a precious Pinning Ceremony for Mr. Donald, a hospice patient and two-time war veteran who served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War.

His children & our hospice care team gathered in his home to enjoy the pinning ceremony. Along with a pin, Donald was given a beautiful hand-sewn quilt and a certificate in appreciation of Proven Sacrifice.

spotlights Scott Lofland, MBA, Senior Vice President of Enterprise Performance & Analytics.

Lofland has worked at Carolina Caring since 2013. His expertise in leveraging data-driven insights, financial modeling, & market intelligence positions the organization for success in an evolving landscape.

In his current role, he oversees government affairs, payer strategy, data analytics, process improvement, and operational efficiencies to support our mission & long-term strategic objectives.

He is also active in healthcare for local, state, and federal policies that directly impact the high-quality, support we provide to patients & families.

In addition to his career at Carolina Caring, Lofland is an Air Force veteran. He retired in 2024 after completing 21 years of service.
