Meet Carlo ❤️
Carlo's story almost ended before it ever had a chance to begin.
At the shelter, he was labeled "offensive aggressive" after the stress of kennel life pushed him into frantic, jumpy, mouthy behavior. Like so many dogs, the shelter environment wasn't showing the real Carlo.
The real Carlo?
He's a cuddly little bowling ball with absolutely no understanding of personal space. If you're sitting down, congratulations... you're now his furniture.
He loves belly rubs (and will happily demand them), thinks every room should come equipped with a dog bed, enjoys a good game of chase with his canine friends, and has been wonderful meeting dogs and people out on walks. Baths? Not his favorite. But he politely tolerated the whole ordeal, stood nicely for drying off, and didn't mind having his paws handled.
We're also pretty convinced this handsome guy came with house manners already installed. He heads outside to do his business, has had no accidents, and settles well in the house. At night he'd much rather sleep close to his people than be tucked away in another room—because remember, personal space isn't really Carlo's thing.
What breaks our hearts is thinking how close this goofy, affectionate boy came to losing his life because of how he coped in a stressful environment.
Carlo isn't an "aggressive" dog.
He's a dog who desperately needed someone to see past the kennel.
Now it's your turn.
If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a professional cuddle enthusiast, and a dog who believes belly rubs should be mandatory, Carlo is ready to prove that first impressions don't always tell the whole story. ❤️
