At their January meeting, the Cow Kids learned about the famous realist painter, Bonnie Mohr, who is famous for painting dairy cows and farm landscapes. They learned that Bonnie grew up on a dairy farm and taught herself how to paint. They also learned what art realism is and were shown all the famous paintings that Bonnie has done, including the famous perfect dairy Holstein cow and a painting that illustrates all the different dairy cow breeds. Then they were taught how to draw a realistic cow and painted their own dairy farm landscape just like Bonnie Mohr.
