Here's a personal note from Curt!

Hello! My name is Curt Burgess and I'm running in the 126th Boston Marathon on April 18, 2022 on behalf of the Newton Food & Clothing Pantry operated by the Arabic Baptist Church of Boston. I have the support of my wife Jill and our four children, along with several other friends and family. I have completed 3 other marathons in my life and it has always been a dream to run Boston. My qualifying times were never good enough, however, so I jumped at the chance to take up a local cause that will benefit those in need in Newton and surrounding areas in order to participate. This year I also turned 50 years old, so this seems like a great way to show myself that I can still achieve challenging physical goals and hopefully serve as inspiration to others. Please join me in my efforts to raise $5,000 or more to ensure the continuous operation of the Newton Food & Clothing Pantry by donating via the link below:

We have teamed up with the Newton Food Pantry and the Centre Street Food Pantry for a special Spring Food Drive coming up on April 11th to help provide food for the city of Newton! We're reminded to be grateful this month and we wanted to take a moment and say thank you to Food Link Inc. for their generous donation of food boxes filled with nutritious food items for our Food Pantry. We're thankful for the efforts of Allen Katzoff and other volunteers to help us serve the Newton community!
