Education Changes Lives – Scholarships Make It Happen!
We are proud to announce the start of the 2025 spring campaign for the annual Trenton Brady Memorial Scholarship. Growing financial pressures can be a real barrier for anyone pursuing an education beyond high school. To date, we’ve awarded well-deserving seniors $12,500 in scholarships over the past eight years to fund their college education and help them thrive within their new life journeys. Last year, your donation created the opportunity for us to award a $1,000 scholarship to two very deserving seniors, which made a lasting impression on their lives.
Through these scholarships, you’ve supported the next generation of public servants – including both males and females. Some of our scholarship winners have had the opportunity to study and/or hold occupations in law enforcement – police officers, a sheriff, corrections officer, Iowa Army National Guard member, and a DNR officer, as well as a criminal justice lawyer, and those in other first responder professions including a doctor of emergency medicine, and a fire fighter/EMT.
Many past award recipients have chosen to remain in Iowa after graduation, working and serving right here within our own neighborhoods and communities. The scholarship criteria, inspired by our son, Trenton, continues to be based heavily on character and work ethic. We couldn’t be more proud of the young men and women who are bravely preparing to enter this field after graduation. But, they can’t do it without you. These scholarships help students pay for their tuition, books, and other college expenses that arise when pursuing their future dreams – and we don't want any dream to seem too big or beyond reach. Our goal is to raise enough funds so that each spring we can continue to award scholarship recipients with generous gifts of financial support.
We hope you will join us in supporting and enriching the lives of Iowa high school students with your gift. We are so grateful for our incredible community, friends, and family, and we truly appreciate anyone who might be able to help support this scholarship fund in memory of Trenton. You could be a big part of someone’s future today. Help us encourage young servant hearts to never give up on their dreams, but to keep moving forward. So today, we celebrate our supporters while we look with hope towards the future. Love truly lives on.
