New Hope Shelter is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional individuals to join our team. We are hiring for multiple part-time positions to help support daily shelter operations and provide a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
These positions are ideal for individuals who are flexible, reliable, and committed to serving others in a respectful and supportive setting.
Weekend Staff - Saturday and Sunday - Third Shift - 10pm to 6am
Key Responsibilities
Every other Saturday - 6am to 2pm
On-call and floating positions available
Answer incoming phone calls and respond in a professional and courteous manner
Assist residents with questions, needs, and general support
Help maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized environment through light cleaning duties
Manage facility entry access by opening doors and assisting individuals entering the shelter
Support front desk and shelter operations throughout the shift
Contribute to a safe, respectful, and positive atmosphere for residents, guests, and staff
High School diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and respectful in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable interacting with diverse populations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability is strongly preferred.
