How lucky am I to have two of the best directors throughout my reign! Melissa and Jarah are truly incredible directors who have made this year unforgettable! They completely spoiled us this year and were so supportive and encouraging! So grateful that I get to shout them out today because they are amazing people! Can't wait to see you soon!!

Why I love Miss Military Star

There are so many reasons why I love this organization. A big reason is that the Milistary Star Organization is so special in the fact that we all becpme one family! This organization welcomed me with open arms and made me feel a part of the Military Star Family as soon as I joined! I am very grateful for this organization and believe that my love for it is because of the people! Another reason why l love Miss Military Star is the fact that giving back to our service men and women as well as our veterans has always been something I have believed in. Finding an organization that places such an importance on this was truly a blessing!

⭐️ Serving Those Who Serve ⭐️

I had the pleasure of being able to return to Staten Island to assist Blue Star Familes of NY with the bi-weekly re-stocking of the shelves at the Fort Wadsworth Food Pantry! ❤️ This wonderful volunteer-run organization provides food and other necessities like diapers and hygiene items to the Coast Guard and Navy families stationed here free of charge. Always grateful to be able to serve those who serve - and already looking first to next time! ❤️

⭐️ I also love getting to do something for our Military Kids! Each time I visit I bring some children's books to add to the Little Free Library outside the Community Center ❤️

I cannot believe how fast nationals is coming! It has been such an amazing blessing to wear this crown all year and to represent such a wonderful organization! Holding tight onto every moment and cherishing the days in this crown over the next two weeks! Can't wait to see who will have this amazing honor next!

What is your favorite Military Branch?

I have the honor of holding two military branches close to heart! Both of my grandfather's served our country! I hold the US Air Force abd US Navy in high regard and in great gratitude that these military branches kept my grandfather's safe. I could not be more proud to say I am the granddaughter of two amazing veterans.

What is your favorite party theme?

I am looking forward to all of our parties to celebrate our wonderful contestants and enjoy the week together! I think for me, I am looking for the A Night of Broadway party! Theater and especially musical theater has been a big part of my life! I found my love of music and dance through community theater! From being on the stage to going to New York to watch professionals, I will never get over the feeling of wonder and joy at being in a theater! Watching a show is like being transported into a story right there! Because of Broadway and musical theater I have learned to be loud, proud, and to dream big! Having a party based on something I hold close to my heart and in high regard is the best kind of party!

I cannot wait to see all of the lovely costumes and dresses based on broadway shows! It is going to be a night to remember!

Who is your pageant bestie?

I am very lucky that my pageant bestie happens to be from my hometown! Jordan and I have been friends for years and some of my favorite memories were with her! Though we do not always represent the same pageant organizations, one of my favorite parts about our friendship is that we do community service together! Jordan has always been one of my biggest supporters and a genuinely amazing friend! So glad that pageants and service to our community brought us together and our similarities and great memories have kept us close! I am so proud of the amazing young woman she has become and can't wait to continue our pageant journeys together! ❤️

My favorite opportunity with this title

I've been very fortunate to be able to take part in so many fun events and to give back to our active military and veterans! A highlight from this year was definitely being a part of the volunteer group for Honor Flight! Getting to see off and welcome back some of the bravest men and women who served our country was truly an amazing opportunity for me! I always look forward to honor flight days and am very grateful I could attend and help at this one!

How do you Nationals prep?

Just like for every competiton, a big part of my prep leading up to nationals last year was practice! I would write out questions on flashcards and have my mom ask those and then ask random questions from my fact sheet to make sure I was fully prepared! I also was sure to practice in my outfits a lot to get a feel for modeling them! A big part of my prepping is also keeping healthy choices for myself and taking time to mentally relax and taking the time to enjoy the lead of to nationals! A healthy mind is a prepared one! ❤️

This year, I have the honor of helping to host the optionals competition and so I am practicing hosting and speaking correctly! I am also prepping all of my clothes for the week and preparing emotionally for the final goodbye!

Can't wait to see everyone's hard work come to life on the stage!

Favorite Military Star memory

I have been so fortunate to have so many wonderful memories during my time in Military Star! I do have to say that winning the title of National Miss Military Star has to be my favorite memory. Not only for the fact that a dream came true, but because it was a moment that showed the true sisterhood and support that all the contestants have for each other! I remember hearing my name called and just looking at my fellow contestant, Jordan in shock as she is cheering me on! Before I did my first walk, I got to hug and congratulate the other girls in the Miss division! All of the national contestants had become such great friends over the week and it really showed in our support of each other at crowning!

Not only this, but right after I was crowned I got to meet my wonderful sister queens and that moment started a year of amazing opportunities and memories! I will forever be grateful for the other girls who cheered me on and made the crowning moment all the more special! ❤️
