lunteers who led Ronald McDonald House Charities Mid-Penn Region for over 30 years, we carry forward a proven legacy of local service with renewed independence and focus. Our work centers on two priorities: providing direct, short-term assistance to families facing unexpected challenges and subsidizing well-vetted community programs that create lasting, positive change. MPRC exists to ensure continued support for local children, families, and the programs that serve them. We know that small acts, delivered at the right time, can make a lasting difference.

The tournament may be over, but the impact is just beginning.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and supporters, this year’s Mid-Penn Region Charities Golf Tournament raised ✨$39,335 ✨to help children and families across Central Pennsylvania facing temporary hardship.

Your support helps provide meals, gas cards, emergency assistance, and Rooms with Heart, comfortable places for families to stay while a loved one is receiving hospital care. Every dollar stays local, providing hope and relief when it’s needed most.

A special thank you to our event sponsor, NPC, Inc., as well as New Pig, Scotch Valley Country Club, and all of our sponsors and partners. We’d also like to recognize Mark Barnhart and Ben Stapelfeld for their mentorship and generosity in helping make Mid-Penn Charities a success.

We’re so grateful for our school partners who help us bring free grief support groups right to students where they are 💙
And to our amazing volunteers—thank you for helping lead and support these groups! Together, we’re able to reach more children who are navigating grief. Lastly, thank you Mid-Penn Region Charities for financially supporting comfort bags for in school grief groups and for assistance with the cost of grief activity materials.
