Today starts the judging contest for Light Up Newport. See the addresses below. 1 vote per person. 5:30-9:30 Fri and Sat behind the Fire Dept on the stage will be a voting box. Winner announced Sunday via Facebook Live. Have fun and enjoy!☃️

Hello all. We had only 4 entries for the house decorating contest. So we would like to open back up registration till Wednesday Dec 17th . Please share and spread the word to “Light Up Newport”.
Contest judging will be this Friday Dec 19th and 20th from 5:30-9:30 behind the Fire Dept. Voting
Box will be on the stage. Winner announced Sunday Dec 21st by a Facebook live.

If you’re looking for something to do tonight. Fire Prevention Parade will be coming through Marietta off the Williamstown Bridge from Williamstown welcome center starting at 7pm and will end at the Wash Co Fairgrounds. Come out and support Newport Vol Fire Dept in the parade.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Bobbi Pritchett. Her dedication, legacy and commitment to our commmunuty and Department will not be forgotten. She was a lifelong member of the Newport Volunteer Fire Departnent for many years, serving as a Treasurer, EMT, and many other roles such as running the Bingo on Monday nights. We ask everyone to please keep Bobbi’s Son Chett and family in your thoughts and prayers during this time.
