Toys for Tots has a Foster Care Program? 💙

As we head into May—National Foster Care Month-- we want to spotlight this essential Program and the children it serves.

When a child enters the Foster Care System, everything changes—but compassion can make all the difference. 💫

Our Toys for Tots Foster Care Program provides age-appropriate toys, books, educational resources, backpacks, and other essential items that promote hope, instill emotional comfort, and encourage healing during a time of transition.

At Toys for Tots, our mission is simple: to bring hope and smiles to children who need it most.—Will you help us?

So, the 2025 Newport AR Toys for Tots Christmas campaign is in the books. Melvin and I want to say, “THANK YOU” to EVERYONE for your support whether it was collecting toys, donating toys, monetary donations, volunteering during the distribution or bringing lunch during the distribution, take down and counting after the distribution, we THANK YOU! We could not have served the number of children without your support…

Here are a few pictures of our community supporters…Please be advised, these are not everyone who helped but is representative of the love shown to the children in Jackson County.

Thank you, thank you on behalf of all the families that you helped make Christmas a little nicer this year!

Gunny News Updates:
We are super excited and grateful that the Seeds of Faith Fellowship ministry here in Newport, has partnered with us and is serving as a toy collection site . Thank you, Pastors Richard and Nyesha Greer and the congregation at Seeds of Faith Fellowship for supporting our community efforts. 🙌🏽

Friday, December 12th, is the day that we pick up the toy collection boxes from our partners around town. So, head on out to your favorite spots and drop off a new, unwrapped toy.

Thankful that another toy collection drive opportunity. We will be at the Newport Walmart on Friday, December 12th, beginning at 12:00 pm (noon). Stop by our table, make a donation and say, “Hello “.

Thank you, Pastor Hubert Harris, for hosting the final Toy Drive of the 2025 season on behalf of the Newport AR Toys for Tots campaign. Your tireless efforts and continued support is immeasurable!!!

Everyone is invited to stop by and make a donation.

And a huge shout out to those who have already made donations. Your generosity, whether large or small, Is greatly appreciated and will help us serve the children of Jackson county.

TODAY is the deadline to submit your family’s requests for toys. Please go to our website at Newport AR Toys for Tots and submit your request by midnight.

Other News:
A toy collection drive is being hosted by Custom Connect Auto Detail on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm.

Toy collection boxes are located around Jackson County, just in case you are not able to stop by the drive on Saturday. Those boxes will be available until December 12, 2025.
