Sometimes things just don’t go as planned 🥹

Frannie arrived less than a week ago and over the course of this week, we knew that something wasn’t right.

Labs, an emergency visit, and pain meds will hopefully help our girl fight whatever infection is going on within her body.

Frannie is a little fighter and she didn’t come this far not to find a family. Please send our girl some well wishes 🐾

MammothMarch 2026 was a huge success! Every single participant from our rescue finished the 20 miles as we joined the 85% of the other participants that also finished. Thank you to our donors, we surpassed our goal of 5K and we are so grateful. If you see our rescue team walking funny today during our shifts, just know we had a great time regardless of our current conditions 😆 Thank you to our donors, to JS Automotive Newport NH and to the volunteers that covered the rescue shifts so we could all attend. What an incredible weekend saving one more set of paws 🐾

The women’s soccer team from Colby-Sawyer College descended upon our rescue this Friday. They spoiled the dogs, took them on adventures, hung flyers, and deep cleaned the rescue. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to help animals in need. We appreciate you 🐾

Our beautiful Osita and her energetic soul has returned to our agency. She’s a joy to have around and we know a home that understands her energy is out there 🐾

We want to take a moment to highlight a local business in our town. At a moments notice and on several occasions, JS Automotive Newport NH has stepped up to purchase supplies or to help our dogs when they need it.

They heard that our rescue team is hitting the trails tomorrow at the MammothMarch and wanted to donate to our fundraiser. Osita marched right over there, showed the entire team her squeaky toy, and then charmed some French fries from them.
