While a large production camp like "Annie" could not work this summer, we have created a new, much smaller camp offering that follows the Governor’s requirements for summer camps. We are excited to be able to offer two sessions of a one week long theatre camp with a max of 12 participants in each session.

In this fun, creative, week long camp, actors will work with local professionals who have extensive performance experience as they spend the week learning acting and improvisation skills through a variety of theatre games and performance exercises. Actors will write and perform their own monologues, scenes, and/or comedy sketches! This small group camp will follow all governmental health requirements to ensure the safety of all campers and staff members.

We have fallen on some hard times. We hope for a community that pulls together and empowers one another. Our foundation will be available for scholarships when the economy opens for youth activities throughout the coming months.

I would like to express a heartfelt and warm thank you to all those who came together to make our 10th anniversary a wonderful success. Many thanks to Roudenbush Community Center in Westford, Ma. for your support, partnership, and help that evening. And a special thank you to the dedicated bands that donated their time and artistic abilities. And to all of our volunteers and contributors behind the scenes and up close and personal, we could have never done this without you. And special mention to Gleb Budulovski our photographer, who donated his time once again (photos to follow). We have learned so much on this journey of ours over the years. People have come together, connections have been made, and lots of changes have occurred over time. We have grown in many ways and have embraced and evolved through all the aches and pains as well as the joys and laughter. The core of our foundation still stands strong in our mission to make that difference in the lives of our youth...as small as it may be. And with that, we are all forever grateful

Well Folks, we are in the final stages of putting this Fundraiser, on the map. I am counting on all my peeps, to be there & join in on this remarkable evening, we have planned. If you are not able to go, that's cool, but we wouldn't say NO, to an on line donation. Just remember, the Derrick Cazard Foundation, is a nonprofit organization. I did not know Derrick, but I know his Mom. He was her life, & to honor that love...the Foundation was born...I have met the most AMAZING ppl, being on the board of this Organization. They knew Derrick well & he LOVED kids. So when this Foundation was born, for them, it was a no brainer as to which way they wanted to go. I am honored to be able to go on this journey w/them. I have learned ALOT, about the goings on, behind the scene. Deb, & EVERYONE else on the board, worked/works very hard & they ALL have a personal life. That in itself, is full time. I admire, & love these kids I encourage all of you, to check out the"Derrick Cazard Foundation" on line. You will get a better idea of what we are all about. I don't usually follow things like this one,BUT, this one just tugged @ my heart strings.
I too, have lost a child, so when I was asked to be on the board, I jumped @ the opportunity. I have 3 grandchildren, that were left behind, when their Mom/my daughter died, there was nothing around like this. There were times that they (my grand-kids) wanted to do something (through school) or (through the town),like soccer or basketball or dance or tumble class, the $$ was just not there. I would have had more opportunities in their life. So this is why I am SO happy/honored to be a part of this.

On November 2nd come join us and The Roudenbush Community Center, Inc. at Westford Regency (219 Littleton Rd., Westford, MA 01886) to commemorate our 10th year and to assist in our cause supporting the children of Rhode Island.

The Barker Gang, A Band Unknown, and Cassidy and Sundance will be featured for live music!

There will be food, raffles, a cash bar, and speakers!
