The Village of Newport is home to the oldest Agricultural Fair in the state held each August. Throughout the summer, you can enjoy the Newport Jamboree's live music on the lawn of the Newport Recreation Center. There are community events, such as the Newport Treasur

es Flea Market, and places to explore Newport's rich history such as the Newport Library & Museum and the former Iron Ore Smelting Furnace or Newport's covered bridges. The community offers a traditional family appeal, with community dinners, fundraisers, the Newport Ruritan Club. There are opportunities for children and families, such as the Newport "Lucky Clovers" 4-H Club, sports and picnic pavillion at the Newport Ballfield.
