The 2024 Agate Festival is scheduled for January 13-14 2024. This FREE EVENT is held over the Martin Luther King Jr weekend in January. Mark your calendars now for a great show. Sorry but The Rock Doc won't be able to attend this year.

Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

We are sorry to say that our Oregon Coast Agate Club which has existed since 1939 will no longer exist as of January 1, 2024. The few of us that still attended the meetings are of retirement age and can no longer put on our annual gem show due to the lack of younger folks to assist with putting the show together.

The "Rock Doc" will continue to participate doing the "Beachcombing 101" presentations as long as possible, and will be featured at the Yachats Agate Festival in January over the MLK weekend.
