The Historic Tanner Building is "Alive and Well" and bustling with activity five days a week. With the Senior Center activities and the Newport Tourism Center on the First Floor and the Cocke County Partnership and County Tourism Offices and Walters State Community College on the Second Floor, the parking lot is usually full on most days. Stop by and pick up some Newport Tourism info and a brand new 2023/2024 Senior Resource Directory.

We are still looking for cabinets for the Senior Center at the Tanner building aka Newport Center. if you know of anyone remodeling their kitchen and they don't know what to do with their cabinets we would be glad to help them out with that..
