Pints For Polio 2026

Many thanks to all who supported the 2026 Pints AGAINST Polio 2026 fundraiser, attendees, donors, and especially our friends at Lindgren Craft Brewery. A total of $817 - which will be matched 2:1 by the Gates Foundation - was raised to help eradicate polio worldwide.

Special thanks to District Governor Rebecca Zalit, Area Governor Carmen Calderon, and John Luzik (and friends) from the Millersburg Club for attending.

Always the third Thursday in October, The Rotary Club of Perry County's Pints AGAINST Polio is part of ongoing efforts to eliminate wild polio throughout the world.

The Rotary Club of Perry County meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 11:45 a.m. at the Newport American Legion, Guests and other prospective members are always welcome!

October 13 Meeting

Thank you to Perry County's Director of Veterans Affairs, Brady Cramer, and our US Military guests and Rotary member veterans for attending this week's meeting. Brady explained that benefits are for all who served, not just those who saw combat, and also explained that benefits can be applied for even years after service is completed. through meaningful work in the food system.

Thank you, Rotary Club of Millersburg!

Finally, the weather and river levels cooperated with great planning for a successful combined meeting & fundraiser for the Millersburg Ferry. We heard from both a retired and a current ferryboat captain and raised over $2,000.
