Congratulations to Lila Gaudrault for winning the 1st NBRC Backyard Ultra! Lila finished 10 laps, for a total of 35 miles on the day! The race had 16 participants, and we want to sincerely thank all of you (and the support teams) for making this a fun, community-centered day. NBRC's 1st ever Backyard Ultra takes place tomorrow, rain or shine - below is the course! We will only cancel or delay if there is lightning in the area, but are hopeful that the weather cooperates to some extent! As usual for NBRC events, this isn't a race with a light show and a DJ. It's a well-marked course, water and fire, and maybe some fun! We kept things simple on purpose: no frills, no fluff!

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀: One 3.5ish-mile loop, every hour, on the hour. To keep going, you just need to be back at the start line when the next hour begins. The goal is just to come out and see how many laps you can knock out in a row - 1 or all of them!

- A headlamp or light, which is required if you're still going after 7 pm!

We'll have a pop-up tent for shade during the day, and a bonfire going from 5 pm to midnight to keep things cozy after dark.

Congrats to all the Main Street Mile finishers today. It was a record turnout for the race!! Hayden Bunnell took 1st place overall with an unofficial time of 4:35!! Full results will be posted soon!
