A Bright Light for the Children's Dyslexia Centers of Maine!

Brethren and Friends,
This afternoon, members of the Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association of Maine gathered for fellowship and to break bread with our Most Worshipful Grand Master, Jeff Simonton, and our Deputy Grand Master.

On behalf of the Band of Brothers chapter, it was a distinct privilege to join together in the spirit of true brotherhood and share in this special occasion.

During our time together, we had the honor of presenting Grand Master Simonton with a check for $3,900.00, representing the collective contributions of all Maine Widows Sons collected in lieu of our annual Grand Master's Charity Motorcycle Ride.

In alignment with his charity of choice this year, Grand Master Simonton has requested that these funds be split evenly between Maine’s two Children’s Dyslexia Centers in Bangor and Portland, providing critical support to young learners across the state.

We extend our deepest thanks to all the Maine Widows Sons for their generous contributions and for standing together in support of this cause. And thank you, Grand Master Simonton and Deputy Grand Master, for taking the time to break bread with us today.

As the season turns colder and we store our bikes away, we are reminded that we do not extinguish the light of Freemasonry or the Widows Sons. Our dedication to brotherly love, relief and truth remains steadfast year-round.

Looking ahead, we are already laying the groundwork for a brighter 2027—including our annual Grand Master's ride, honoring our Grand Master as we continue to ride the roads of Maine for charity and sharing the Light of Freemasonry one headlight at a time.

Imagine fighting cancer at just four years old. After a long and incredibly rough bout in the hospital, this brave little hero came home today with one simple, heartfelt wish: he wanted a police-style es**rt, but with a whole bunch of motorcycles.

Today, that wish didn't just come true—it became a memory that will last a lifetime. The Masonic Riders Association of Maine heard his call, mounted up, and answered without hesitation.

It wasn't about the patches on their vests, the rumble of the engines, or the ride itself. It was entirely about that one moment—seeing the pure, unadulterated joy and excitement on this young boy's face as a "thunderous" es**rt welcomed him home.

This is what it’s all about, community, compassion, and the profound difference that showing up for one another can make. This isn't just a motorcycle association ; this is the heart of Freemasonry in action—men coming together for a purpose far bigger than themselves, turning a dark chapter into a day filled with light and love.

We are so proud of our Masonic brothers in Maine for living by their principles and making this day happen for this deserving family.
