GOD IS RESTORING WHAT YEARS OF WARFARE HAVE BROKEN
There are some things you have carried for so long that you have forgotten what it feels like to be whole.
You learned how to survive the battle, but God says, “I am teaching you how to live beyond it.”
You have been in warfare, but warfare does not get the final word.
The enemy may have broken pieces of your heart.
He may have attacked your confidence.
He may have exhausted your mind.
He may have wounded your spirit.
He may have tried to make you question your calling, your future, your identity, and even the goodness of God.
But God is putting you back together.
The pieces that scattered in the battle are not lost.
The tears you cried were not wasted.
The prayers you prayed in the dark were not forgotten.
God saw every battle.
He saw every betrayal.
He saw every disappointment.
He saw every wound you never told anyone about.
He saw every time you had to encourage yourself because there was nobody around to encourage you.
And now it’s time to come out of the battlefield and come to the table.
Psalm 23 says, “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.”
God does not merely remove the enemies before He blesses you.
He prepares the table in their presence.
There is coming a season where the very things that tried to destroy you will have to watch God restore you.
The voices that said you would never recover will watch you recover.
The people who counted you out will watch God raise you up.
The enemy that thought he had exhausted you will have to watch you sit down at the table of the Lord and feast again.
You are not going to spend the rest of your life recovering from what happened to you.
The table is a declaration that the battle did not win.
And I hear the Lord saying, “Come and renew your strength.”
You have been running on empty.
You have poured out and poured out.
You have fought battles nobody knew you were fighting.
But Isaiah says, “Those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength.”
God is not asking you to manufacture strength you no longer have, He is inviting you to receive strength from Him.
Come sit at His table.
Come drink from His presence.
Come rest in His goodness.
Come let Him minister to the places that warfare wounded.
Because in this season, you are going to know Him as Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals.
And His healing is going deeper than your physical body.
He is healing your soul.
He is healing the places where rejection left a wound.
He is healing the places where betrayal left you suspicious.
He is healing the places where disappointment made you afraid to hope again.
He is healing the places where grief stole your joy.
He is healing the places where warfare made you hard.
He is healing the places where you learned to expect the worst because you had been hurt so many times.
But God is not only healing what happened to you, He is healing what it did inside of you.
You will not always look like what you survived.
Your scars will not be evidence of defeat, they will be evidence of grace.
God is taking the places where you were wounded and making them places where fruit will grow.
What the enemy meant for harm, God is turning for good.
Joseph had a coat stained by betrayal, a pit marked by rejection, a prison marked by injustice, but God took every chapter the enemy intended for destruction and used it to position him for purpose.
And God is still doing that.
Your testimony is going to become a table for somebody else.
You are going to become living proof that there is hope after warfare.
You survived the battle, but God says you are about to enjoy the victory.
So dry your tears.
Lift your head.
Come to the table.
The war may have taken years, but it will not take the rest of your life.
God is restoring you.
God is healing you.
God is strengthening you.
God is rebuilding you.
God is renewing you.
And when God finishes putting you back together, your scars will preach.
Your healing will preach.
Your joy will preach.
Your restoration will preach.
Your life will become a testimony to everyone watching, “Look what the Lord has done.”
There is a table prepared.
There is oil for your wounds.
There is strength for your weakness.
There is healing for your heart.
There is grace for your next season.
Come feast.
Your warfare is not the end of your story.
Restoration is.
