Newport Navy Choristers will present "Christmas in Song" Sunday, December 7 @ 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 228 North Main Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. Tickets are $10, and can be purchased at the door. Proceeds will benefit the Branch Community Supper and Homeless Ministries at First Baptist Church. Come ring in the Christmas season with us and support a great cause!

Tonight is the last rehearsal at which the Choristers will be accepting new singers for our fall semester rehearsals in preparation for our Christmas season concerts. Rehearsals run from 7:00 to 9:30 PM on Tuesday nights in room 100 of Perry Hall, Bldg 440, Naval Station Newport. Active duty, reserve and retired personnel of all the Armed Services, Naval War College students, faculty, and staff, DoD civilian employees of Naval Station Newport, and their spouses and dependents over the age of 16 are invited to sing with the Choristers. Proceeds of all concerts benefit local non-profit organizations. Come join this wonderful group of people, and have fun while helping to raise money for worthy causes in our community!

The Choristers will hold our second fall semester rehearsal tonight from 7:00-9:30 PM in room 100 of Perry Hall (Bldg 440), Naval Station Newport. Active duty, reserve, and retired personnel of all the Armed Services, Naval War College students, faculty, and staff, DoD civilian employees, and their spouses and children over the age of 16 are invited to join our chorus as we prepare for our Christmas season concerts.

The Newport Navy Choristers will begin fall semester rehearsals on Tuesday, September 2nd. New singers will be welcomed at our September 2, 9, and 16 rehearsals. Prior chorus or choir experience is NOT required, and singers do not need to be able to read music (though it helps!) See the flyer posted below for more information. The Newport Navy Choristers are gearing up for our 73rd concert season, and are welcoming new singers to join our chorus! Active duty, reserve and retired personnel of all the Armed Services (not just Navy), Naval War College students, faculty, and staff, Department of Defense civilian employees of Naval Station Newport, and their spouses and dependents age 16 and over are invited to join the Choristers. The ability to read music is NOT a requirement! Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings starting September 2nd. See flyer for more information. Come join the fun!

Rehearsals for the Choristers' Spring concert "Proudly We Sing" will commence on Tuesday, January 14th at 7:00 PM in room 100 of Perry Hall (Bldg 440) aboard Naval Station Newport. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:30, and will run from 14 Jan through 22 April, culminating in the concert on April 25th. New singers will be welcomed at our Jan 14, 21 and 28 rehearsals. Membership in the chorus is extended to active duty, reserve, and retired military personnel, Naval War College students, faculty and staff, civilian employees of the Department of Defense, and their spouses and dependents over the age of 16.
