We give heartfelt thanks to all the parents and young people who participated in our Black History Program. Your presence, your voices, and your commitment made this celebration truly meaningful. Above all, we give all thanks, honor, and glory to our Father and His Son in heaven, whose love reminds us that our future is limitless. Because God is unbounded and without limits, we walk in a freedom that no circumstance can take away. May each of us move forward from this day filled with faith, hope, and a positive expectation for all that is yet to come.

Juneteenth is a day of contemplation, celebration, and commemoration.

On June 19, 1865, news of emancipation reached Galeveston, Texas, and the last enslaved Black Americans were officially freed.

May we continue to fight for justice, equity, and freedom for ALL.

We are looking forward to participating in the peaceful protest tomorrow in Newport where we will be providing COVID-19 care packages for senior citizens as they continue to practice social distance. Residents over 65 are encouraged to participate in the peaceful protest from their cars, and a student will bring the care package to your vehicle.
