🏈 Tailgate Favorites Made Healthier

Football season is here, and so are the snacks! Join UT Extension's Mobile Teaching Kitchen for a FREE hands-on cooking demonstration where you'll learn how to make crowd-pleasing tailgate favorites that are flavorful, budget-friendly, and better for your health.

During this demonstration, you'll learn:
✅ Simple ingredient swaps to reduce fat, sodium, and calories
✅ Ways to add more fruits and vegetables to game-day meals
✅ Budget-friendly recipes perfect for tailgates, potlucks, and family gatherings
✅ Food safety tips for serving food outdoors
✅ Healthy cooking techniques that don't sacrifice flavor

Participants will enjoy recipe demonstrations, nutrition tips, and ideas you can take home for football season and upcoming holiday gatherings.

🐂🐑🐐🐖 WE’RE BUILDING THE NEXT COCKE COUNTY 4-H LIVESTOCK JUDGING TEAM! 🍀

Looking for something different to get your kid involved in?

How about an activity where they can travel, compete, make friends, work with livestock, build confidence, and learn to defend their decisions—all while representing Cocke County 4-H? 👏

Livestock judging might just be their thing.

And here’s the important part:

👉 They don’t have to own livestock.
👉 They don’t have to show livestock.
👉 They don’t have to know anything about livestock judging.
👉 WE WILL TEACH THEM!

Livestock judging gives 4-H members the opportunity to evaluate cattle, sheep, goats, and hogs; develop decision-making and public-speaking skills; and put those skills to the test at contests.

We’re inviting ALL interested youth in grades 4–12 to our upcoming interest meeting:
