Yesterday, Southbank Partners CEO Will Weber joined Ohio River Way 2026 Summit for a panel on riverfront investments and community development, talking about the work happening along Northern Kentucky’s riverfront and the collaboration it takes to keep these projects moving.

Will shared Riverfront Commons highlights featuring projects throughout the community including parks, art installations, and The Riverwalk; the funding received to move the project forward, and importance of talent attraction/ retention in the project, and the power of partnerships and patience to move transformational projects forward - as we connect people and communities to the riverfront district.

Thanks to The Ohio River Way for the opportunity to be part of the conversation and share what’s happening along Northern Kentucky’s riverfront.

Last fall, Southbank Partners brought a new landmark to The Bellevue Beach Park at Riverfront Commons with the installation of a custom 10 foot tall Giant Beach Chair.

Commissioned as a signature piece of the Riverfront Commons Public Art Collection is “A Beautiful View” a nod to the City of Bellevue, Kentucky, which translates to “beautiful view” in French featuring the Queen City and Mt Adams in the background, as well as the history of the riverfront park which dates back to 1902.
