We're thrilled to announce a meaningful partnership with Nothstar Media and the film "A Mother's Prayer."

This powerful film tells the story of Ignacio, a young boy caught between his mother's unwavering faith and the pull of gang life. Sentenced to life in San Quentin, Ignacio's mother never stops praying—believing that her fervent faith and love can bring her son home and transform his life. It's a testament to the unrelenting power of a mother's love.

This is exactly why Motherly Love exists. We believe in supporting mothers through every season of their journey—the joys, the struggles, the heartbreak, and the hope. Whether a mother is navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, loss, or raising children in difficult circumstances, she deserves compassion, community, and care.

We know it's been quiet, and we owe you the full story.

The last several months have tested us. Funding constraints forced us to pause our services in July 2025, and we needed time to do something essential: reconnect with who we are and what we're called to do for mothers.

We've spent these months in deep reflection. We've asked hard questions. We've listened. And we've emerged with clarity, renewed purpose, and a vision that feels more aligned with our mission than ever before.

Here's what's coming: Over the next month, you're going to see significant changes. New services. New direction. A refreshed approach to how we support mothers across all stages of their journey. We have some genuinely big things in store, and we're extremely excited to share them with you.

Hey everyone,

I want to be completely transparent with you—Motherly Love is facing some tough challenges right now.

We’ve realized that many people think we’re a pregnancy center, but that’s not who we are. Motherly Love is a support and education center for 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬. While we do connect moms with resources for baby items like diapers, wipes, bottles, and formula, our primary mission is to help moms thrive on their motherhood journey.

Right now, we have 𝟏𝟓 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐬 waiting for their care packages—packages that are already prepared and filled with love and support. However, we simply don’t have the funds to mail or deliver them. Each package costs just $𝟐𝟎 to send using flat-rate boxes from the post office.

In the past six months, we’ve also had two moms reach out to us for NICU support. Heartbreakingly, we couldn’t provide the help they needed beyond referring them to a pregnancy center.

We’re at a crossroads, unsure of how to move forward, but we’re holding onto hope. These care packages mean so much to the moms who receive them, and we want to ensure that every mom who reaches out to us feels seen, supported, and cared for.

If you feel moved to help us continue our mission, we would be so grateful for your support. Every dollar counts, and your donation will go directly toward mailing these care packages and continuing to be a lifeline for the moms who need us.
