The Newport Aquatic Center was founded in 1982 and built in 1987 as a non-profit corporation offering the public unique opportunities in the Olympic water sports of rowing, canoeing, kayaking and outrigger canoe competition.

TIME TRIALS START TODAY🏁⚡️The NAC Junior Rowing Men’s and Women’s teams are competing this weekend at the 2026 Youth National Championships at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida!

Both teams will be looking to improve on their finishes last year, which includes a national title in the Men’s pair (2-).
There will be eight boats competing for NAC that weekend!

ALL LIVESTREAM ACCESS CAN BE FOUND EXCLUSIVELY ON OVERNGHT SPORTS (OVERNGHT.COM) AND RACE RESULTS WILL BE POSTED DAILY ON THE NAC JR ROWING INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT!

NAC Paddler, Sue, took on the Santa Barbara Rig Run and found something bigger than just a race — confidence, strength, and a reminder of what’s possible when you step outside your comfort zone.

If you are a cancer fighter or survivor, we invite you to apply for Camp We Are Ocean — an opportunity to reconnect with yourself, experience the healing power of the ocean, and be part of an incredible community of fellow fighters and survivors.

And if this isn’t for you personally, please help us spread the word by sending this to someone who could use it. You never know who may need this experience.

Because of the generosity of our donors, partners, and community, we are able to expand We Are Ocean and offer two camps this year. Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us create these experiences for cancer fighters and survivors.
