In Loving Tribute to Nancy Whitlock

Our beautiful friend, Nancy Whitlock, has been welcomed into the arms of the Lord. Nancy was a treasured, longtime member of our Childhelp for over 39 years, serving in nearly every capacity on our Orange County Chapter Board and lending to our chapter’s success.

Nancy had a special way of making everyone feel valued and loved. She had the loveliest laugh, a wonderful sense of humor, and a gift for bringing joy to those around her. She generously shared her artistic talents with our Chapter, becoming our expert bow maker and jewelry maker. Her trifle was always a treat, and her cakes were nothing short of legendary and always a hit in our auctions! Everything Nancy did reflected the love, creativity, and special touch that made her so wonderfully Nancy.

A mentor, an inspiration, and a shining example of everything that is light, love, kindness, and grace. We were fortunate to have her in our lives, and her warmth, wisdom, laughter, and beautiful spirit will remain in our hearts forever. Our love to her husband Frank, daughters Joy and J'me.

Dear Chapter Members & Friends of Childhelp:

I hope to see you at our Monthly Luncheon Meeting on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 11:30 am, at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club.

Please RSVP to Terri Carlson so the Yacht Club has a head count. Lunch is $40 and the view and company is incredible! Free parking is available in the parking lot in front of the Club.

We have our two upcoming 2027 events to discuss and Jackie Blankenship, Childhelp's Director of Philanthropy will be speaking on her involvement, experience and how she can be a resource for our Chapter.

Reminder: Board meets at 10:00 am.

Alas, it doesn't look like we will be getting our Instagram account back after an attempted hacking. A new one will be started shortly.
