Harbor Day School

It was an unforgettable day at Harbor Day School! 🏅We were honored to host five-time Olympian Janet Evans and legendary sportscaster Bob Costas for an inspiring all-school assembly. Ms. Evans and Mr. Costas shared incredible stories from their Olympic journeys and interviewed each other about what it takes to compete and cover the Games! To top off an amazing visit, Mr. Costas ran into some our HDS basketball players giving them an extra special pre-game pep talk.🤩

Let’s talk financial literacy! 📈 Seventh graders got a real-world lesson on the stock market during math class, with guest speaker, alumni parent and grandparent, Mr. Shepherdson! With his experience on Wall Street, he broke down the basics of stocks, pricing, risks, and growth. Our students asked insightful questions and walked away with a solid beginner’s guide to investing. 📊
