One Roof and the Coweta Community Food Pantry would like to thank Bree Knight for her EAGLE SCOUT project she just completed. Because of her, we have a refreshed storage room and new flooring in the cooler section of the food pantry. It is nice to have some new carpet in there and it makes the whole place look and feel so much better!

Thank you Bree and your team, who made such a big improvement to our food pantry storage space!

One Roof and the Coweta Community Food Pantry would like to thank Chris Kemp of Kemp's Dalton West Floorings for helping us to get new floor coverings in the cold storage area of the food pantry. It looks so amazing and so clean it is exciting to go back there now :).

We are very grateful and I hope you will check out their stores. They have a great selection and my family has purchased carpet several times, but they carry more than just carpet!

Thanks again from all of us here at One Roof!

Announcing our photography contest! See the flier attached here. We are working with Trista Rose Photography and collecting entries for our month-long photo contest. The photos have to be of any site of beautify in Coweta County (landscapes, buildings, etc.). There is a $10 entry fee that helps support One Roof, but the grand prize will be a $50 gift certificate to use in the thrift store!!!

We will let Trista Rose Photography choose the winning picture and I hope you will have fun with this project.

One Roof would also like to thank the Knights of Columbus from St. George Catholic Church of Newnan. Four men came out to help us Saturday and they organized shelves, bagged at least 200 pounds of rice, and cleaned our carpet! They accomplished quite an amazing amount of work in a short time.

Pictured are Jim Gildemeyer, Jonathan Mabe, Galileo Portola and (missing) Rudy Duyka. We are so grateful for your help!

One Roof would like to thank Ms. Elizabeth Lake for her fundraising and collecting; she gathered 3 big boxes of personal care items and also raised some moneys towards our program. She's a beautiful young lady with wonderful leadership skills. I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store for someone who has so much initiative and she's just entering Middle School!
