Steph recently represented Coweta FORCE at Alternative Response Cohort 1 with The Carter Center, joining partners from across Georgia to help build and expand alternative response models in our state.

Led by the Rule of Law Group, Policing Alternatives & Diversion Initiative (PAD), and the Southern Center for Human Rights, the cohort brings together key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and develop approaches that connect people with appropriate community-based support and resources.

We’re excited to be part of these important conversations and to help build a strong coalition for alternative response across Georgia!

Healing after trauma is possible, and you don’t have to walk that journey alone.

Join the REBOOT Recovery team for Trauma REBOOT, a 12-week course focused on helping individuals find practical tools for healing and moving forward after trauma and difficult life experiences. Led by trained facilitators through Reboot Recovery, this course is designed to provide guidance, encouragement, and a path toward lasting healing.

Trauma REBOOT is a course, not a support group. While there are no shortcuts or easy answers, participants will discover tools and hope for navigating life after trauma.

Investing in recovery means investing in the people who help make recovery possible. 🧡

Coweta FORCE was honored to host the Recovery Residence Associate/Professional training in our community space! Over two days, recovery residence professionals came together to learn, grow, strengthen their skills, and dig deeper into the ethical practices that help create safe, supportive recovery environments.

We’re especially proud that our own Amanda Quinn, Program Coordinator of The Burch House, participated in the training as she continues working toward her Recovery Residence Professional credential.

We believe recovery housing is about so much more than providing a place to live. It’s about creating environments rooted in connection, accountability, dignity, ethical leadership, and opportunities for people to build sustainable lives in recovery.

A huge thank you to Cody Davis, the Georgia Association of Recovery Residences , and everyone who joined us for two great days of learning and connection. We’re grateful to be part of strengthening recovery residences and the recovery community across Georgia.

💜 NEW MEETING AT COWETA FORCE: SMART Recovery

Beginning Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00 PM, Coweta FORCE will be offering a new SMART Recovery meeting every Tuesday!

SMART Recovery (Self-Management and Recovery Training) is a free, science-based approach to recovery and an alternative to traditional 12-step meetings. Using practical, evidence-based tools, SMART Recovery helps participants:

• Build and maintain motivation
• Manage urges and cravings
• Cope with difficult thoughts, feelings, and behaviors
• Work toward a balanced, healthy life

Meetings are supportive, nonjudgmental, and focused on empowering individuals with practical skills they can use throughout their recovery journey.

🎓💜 We have a BIG accomplishment to celebrate!

Congratulations to Brandon Hamilton on graduating from Substance Abuse Aftercare Services (SAAS)!

SAAS provides continued recovery support following the completion of intensive substance use treatment, helping participants continue building on the progress they’ve made as they move forward in their recovery.

Brandon’s graduation is especially exciting as he is the first SAAS graduate in our area in quite some time! Completing this program represents commitment, perseverance, and a lot of hard work, and we are so excited to celebrate this milestone with him.

Brandon, your Coweta FORCE family is proud of you and honored to be part of your recovery journey. Keep moving forward — this is worth celebrating! 🎉

🎉 Help us celebrate Ramon!

Ramon recently graduated from the Matrix program through the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, and we are so proud to celebrate this accomplishment with him!

The Matrix program uses evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral approaches to help individuals strengthen recovery skills and continue making positive changes in their lives.
Recovery is built one step, one decision, and one accomplishment at a time, and completing this program is a BIG one! 💜
