On January 8th & 9th, 2016, the Newnan Chapter No. 483 Prince Hall Order of the Eastern Star will celebrate our 29th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Commemoration in Newnan, Georgia. The theme this year is “Generations Continuing The Legacy Of Education”.

We begin the celebration with The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Commemorative Service to be held on Friday, January 08, 2016, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, 87 Pinson St., Newnan, at 7:00PM.

Then on Saturday, January 9th, a Parade is planned through Downtown Newnan beginning @12 noon ending with a luncheon for the community at Newnan High School.
