As we do each year, we’d like to invite you to join us TODAY, February 18th, to pause wherever we are at 11:18 EST, the moment the plane carrying the crew of Ratchet 33 went down fourteen years ago, for a moment of silence to remember the impact these great men continue to have on all of us. Please use this time to remember Capt. Ryan Hall, Capt. Nicholas Whitlock, 1Lt. Justin Wilkins, and SrA. Julian Scholten, and the sacrifice they made.

Every year to honor Nick's birthday, we make a donation on December 10th in his memory to a deserving organization to help support programs that provide important resources and opportunities for veterans, military families and our area youth.

This year we are donating $2,000 to Volunteers of America Florida to support their Pensacola Veterans Village.

The Veterans Village provides transitional housing and supportive services to veterans experiencing homelessness to stabilize and prepare them for a life of independence.
You can learn more about the program, including ways to support, here: https://www.voaflorida.org/locations/pensacola-veterans-village/

We would like to invite you to take a look at our recent newsletter! We are so excited about what the Whitlock Foundation is able to do, and the lives it is impacting! None of this would be possible without all those that continue to support the Whitlock Foundation and the legacy of Nick and the other members of Ratchet 33.

In 2023 we awarded our 11th Nicholas Whitlock Leadership Scholarship. Now a four-year scholarship, we have awarded $30,000 in funds since 2013 to graduating seniors who exemplify Nicks’ characteristics of integrity, honesty, bravery and leadership.
