🏠💙 Sometimes the biggest victories happen after the biggest setbacks.

What started as a routine Brush with Kindness project quickly revealed challenges no one expected. First, the home's foundation needed to be leveled. Then, as work progressed, serious issues with the deck were uncovered, requiring additional repairs before the project could safely move forward.

But thanks to the incredible volunteers from Catholic Heart Charities and RiverLife, progress is happening once again.

While specialists address the structural deck repairs, these dedicated volunteers have rolled up their sleeves and tackled critical work inside the home—bringing us one step closer to a safe, secure, and comfortable living space for the homeowner and her family.

Their willingness to serve, adapt, and keep moving forward reminds us that building hope isn't always about new construction. Sometimes it's about restoring a home, overcoming obstacles, and helping a neighbor return safely to the place they love.

Thank you, Catholic Heart Charities and RiverLife, for being part of this journey and helping us turn challenges into hope. 💙
