From Georgia, we have the MOO CREW (Josiah Benjamin, Cy Thompson and Riley Adler)
Coweta County Cattlemen’s Association in Newnan, Georgia believes the future of agriculture starts with our youth. These young cattlemen dedicated more than 50 hours to classroom instruction and on-the-ranch training in preparation for competition.
Josiah Benjamin is a homeschooled rising senior from Senoia, Georgia, who is currently taking classes at the University of West Georgia and plans to attend the University of Georgia next fall to pursue a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He is the current Northwest District Georgia 4-H President, and 5-Time Master Georgia 4-H’er in animal science judging contests including Dairy Quiz Bowl, Dairy Judging and Poultry Judging
Cy Thompson is a freshman at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia, majoring in Agricultural Technology Management. He has supported land management and cattle production since high school and looks forward to learning how cutting-edge technology can strengthen modern food and farming systems.
Riley Adler is a current freshman at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. She is studying agriculture animal sciences and plans to go to vet school to work with food animals. She has worked at Braelinn Animal Hospital almost her whole high school career and has taken many shadowing opportunities to work with other large animal veterinarians.
