Art Saves Lives

Backstreet Community Arts exists to provide a safe, welcoming, creative environment to anyone who may benefit from the healing powers of art and community.

Backstreet Arts reaches out to anyone who may not be aware of or have access to the proven healing power of art: those who have experienced trauma, illness, or grief; veterans; intellectually and developmentally disabled adults; homeless and low-income individuals who cannot afford art classes, those who are going through the recovery process, and anyone who wants to practice art in a comfortable, non-intimidating atmosphere.

We strive to make the arts accessible to everyone. If you have specific ADA requirements, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
