On August 4, 1790, the U.S. Coast Guard was founded as the Revenue Cutter Service. For 236 years, they've protected our nation's waters, answered the call in every condition, and saved countless lives.

From wartime deployments and search-and-rescue missions to hurricane response, icebreaking operations, and drug interdiction, the Coast Guard takes on some of the toughest missions with unwavering dedication and quiet professionalism.
