Thank you to all of our volunteers that come and help with our high school fishing days. Today we had Justin Bruce, Garrett Coggins, Matthew Cash, Matt Rainey from Newnan Utilities spend time with our students. It was a beautiful day to be outside fishing!

The Newnan Kiwanis Club has put on the Coweta Fair since 1947. That is going on eighty years of the same eleven days every fall!

It is worth knowing where the $10 at the gate actually goes, because it is not simply an admission price. It is how a club of 100+ funds local non-profits focused on the health, education, and well-being of children in our community.

It helps more than 50 organizations, all of them here in Coweta County. Ferst Readers, Scouting America, Elevate Coweta Students, and so many more. Plus, a Christmas shopping spree for kids who would not otherwise get one.

So ride the Ferris wheel. Eat the pimento cheese. It all ends up back in the same county where we live...Coweta!

Plan Ahead! Mega Passes are $30 and cover admission plus unlimited rides for one person for one day on whichever day you pick. Advance sale only, through Wednesday, September 23.

Thank you to the parishoners of Newnan Presbyterian Church for their continued support of CORRAL!

As we approach the end of the month of July, we want to remind everyone of the organization we're supporting this month as part of our outreach. CORRAL is such a fantastic nonprofit and in this picture you can see the horse named Magic who was sponsored by our Church and does a fantastic job!! For more information check our website for different ways to continue to support what they do!

We wrapped up our high school fishing days this week! We couldn't have done it without the volunteers that came out from Newnan Kiwanis , Georgia Department of Natural Resources - Georgia DNR officers, Newnan Police Department , Bo Ray from Special Olympics Georgia - Coweta County , and CORRAL volunteers. The kids look forward to this every year, and we have a great time seeing students that rode with us in the past.

We asked, and our community delivered! We had two new horses join our herd earlier this month, and they are already being put to work! Thank you to their owners for sharing them with us! Magic and Tanner are enjoying their retirement jobs, and they'll be enjoying our summer break beginning Friday. Classes will start back in late August!
