We wrapped up our high school fishing days this week! We couldn't have done it without the volunteers that came out from Newnan Kiwanis , Georgia Department of Natural Resources - Georgia DNR officers, Newnan Police Department , Bo Ray from Special Olympics Georgia - Coweta County , and CORRAL volunteers. The kids look forward to this every year, and we have a great time seeing students that rode with us in the past.

We asked, and our community delivered! We had two new horses join our herd earlier this month, and they are already being put to work! Thank you to their owners for sharing them with us! Magic and Tanner are enjoying their retirement jobs, and they'll be enjoying our summer break beginning Friday. Classes will start back in late August!

Last fall we were awarded a Coweta-Fayette EMC Round-Up grant to purchase a new aerator for our pond. It finally got warm enough for us to get it installed, so we are hopeful we can keep the pond free of algae and avoid a fish kill this year! Thank you so much to everyone that participates in the Round-Up program when you pay your EMC bill!

We are honored to be one of the 74 charities that received a grant from Clothes Less Traveled Nonprofit Thrift Shop for 2026. They gave out over $333,000 to local charities. Your donations to their thrift shop make such huge difference to our community!

Thank you to ClearWater Academy for their 50/50 Raffle donation from their Gala last weekend. Adding ClearWater to our riding schedule was one of the best blessings that came out of 2020! Our horses and volunteers were missing riders, and ClearWater gave us our purpose back for the 2020-2021 school year. We enjoy seeing them every school year for our six week school sessions.

One more school session to go, and a handful of Saturday classes, and these guys will be on their summer break. 2026 is flying by! For horses that are in their late 20s, these two look great, and that's thanks to Seminole Feed Senior! We made the switch years ago, and it's been the best stuff for our senior herd!

A cherished Coweta County tradition returns as the CORRAL Nativity is set for Dec. 18, 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. at the CORRAL barn, located at 52 Oliver Potts Road in Newnan.

The 20-minute live nativity has been presented annually since 1987, telling the story of the first Christmas with Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, shepherds, wise men, and live animals.

Children can interact with goats and even pose for a photo holding Baby Jesus. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early for parking and seating.

Thank you to the Caring Communities Foundation for funding our request for horse sponsorship for 2026! We are grateful for their support of our program and our ongoing mission to provide our services free of charge to all of our riders.
