🎄 Something magical is coming to the NCC Thrift Shop!

Our volunteers are getting ready to transform the shop into a Christmas wonderland filled with holiday decorations, festive finds, gifts, and plenty of Christmas cheer! ✨

To make room for all the holiday magic, the Thrift Shop will be closed November 2–7 while our amazing volunteers work behind the scenes to prepare.

We can't wait to welcome you back and share all the treasures they've been saving for this special time of year! ❤️💚

Help put hope on the table this November! 💚

We’re excited to share that the Newmarket Community Church Food Pantry has once again been selected as a nonprofit partner in the Hannaford Fight Hunger Bag Program!

Throughout November 2026, every time you purchase a $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag at the Hannaford in Durham, $1 will be donated directly to our Food Pantry to help provide nutritious food and everyday essentials to our neighbors.

Join us at the Newmarket Millspace on Friday, November 13, for an evening of comedy benefiting the Newmarket Food Pantry!

Fresh off his win at the Lamprey River Comedy Competition, Dan Donahue will take the stage alongside Katie Tessier and Kathy Gilmour for a night of laughter, connection, and community support.

Bring some friends, enjoy a fun night out, and help support local neighbors facing food insecurity. Sometimes making a difference can be a laughing matter!

Sometimes you just know when you've found the one! 🧥💜

A couple weeks ago, a customer and her mom stopped by the NCC Thrift Shop, where she fell in love with a vintage raccoon coat. They left without it, but she mentioned she might be back.

Fast forward to closing time, and guess who walked through the door? Our volunteers ALL cheered because we knew exactly what she had come back for!
And when she put that coat on? Just look at that smile! 😍

These are the moments that make our little Thrift Shop so special.

Great finds, happy customers, and volunteers who celebrate right alongside you.

Every story matters. Every voice deserves to be heard. 💜

Join us for Seeds of Hope: Growing Mental Wellness in Our Community, an evening of honest conversations, shared experiences, and connection.

Local community members will share personal stories of living with mental health conditions or substance use disorders, as well as experiences of loving or losing someone along the way.

By listening to one another with compassion and understanding, we can help break down stigma, build connection, and remind each other that no one has to navigate life's challenges alone.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the NCC Annual Golf Tournament such a wonderful success!

To our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who contributed their time, talents, and generosity, we are so grateful. Beyond a fun day on the course, this event is a reminder of what we can accomplish when our community comes together.

Let your light shine. ✨

This Sunday, we conclude our Three Beats Deep series with a joyful invitation to live fully alive. The light is already lit within us. How might we let our love, courage, and joy shine where they can be seen?

As we celebrate World Communion Sunday, we’ll gather at Christ’s open table with a sense of connection to Christians around the world. We’ll also have an opportunity to renew our baptismal promises together.

And there will be beautiful music! Our own Dave Talmage will be joined by visiting musician, friend, and former NCC Deacon John Decker, who will share the sounds of his French horn. 🎶
